Class Task

This class covered how we could prototype an AR/VR experience. Since Figma doesn’t currently have a built-in feature for this, we used a plugin to simulate the experience. Initially, I struggled a little with getting the background image to display correctly, but I figured it out eventually with some trial and error.

One of the most exciting parts of the class was being able to view the experience we created through a VR headset. I had never worn one before, so it felt a bit strange at first, but I’m really glad I got the opportunity to try it. It was fascinating to see how immersive the environment could feel, even at this early stage of design.

This class was really interesting for me, especially because I had never tried designing for AR/VR before. It opened my eyes to how these types of experiences could be prototyped and tested. I find the prototyping classes really helpful overall, especially because prototyping has always been one of my weaker skillsets. It’s reassuring to have the support to build my confidence and skills in this area.
