I explored many different typefaces, ranging from handwritten, sand and sans serif options. I finally decided on Cormorant Garamond as my primary typeface and Jost as my secondary. I felt that these two typefaces went well together and that they were suitable for my brand.
As it’s a wardrobe/styling app, I felt that it would be fitting to mimic other fashion brands and have a wordmark as my logo. I feel that it’s a good combination of modern and traditional.. as it’s a classic wordmark but the plus adds a modern spin to it.
I’ve decided to keep the brands colours black and white as white is the best colour to have
I think the use of photography will be part of the brands identity. Photography is used in Fashion branding/ marketing as it displays the product. As it’s a clothing app, I need to follow in similar footsteps to the industry.
