In developing my concept, I conducted research into the key business challenges faced by hotels, Airbnbs, and event spaces. Understanding the specific struggles of each type of establishment was essential to identifying where a smart, adaptive design solution could make the greatest impact. Through this research, I found that hotels often struggle with the high costs and operational disruption of regular renovations, Airbnbs face fierce competition and the constant pressure to update interiors affordably, and event spaces require flexibility to transform their appearance for different clients while managing time and cost constraints. These insights have helped shape the direction of Moda, ensuring it addresses real needs within the commercial design industry.
