Sketches

I spent some time sketching out the potential layouts for my audiovisual (AV) project. This process allowed me to visualise how the different elements of the design could come together and flow. I experimented with various compositions, ensuring that the layout would not only be functional but also aesthetically engaging. It was important for me to balance the technical aspects of the AV with the overall user experience, so I explored different ways to organise the content while keeping it intuitive and easy to navigate

Wireframes

I made wireframes based on my sketches. This process was simple as it was based on my sketches, but it’s nice seeing the project start to come together digitally.

Name

I asked Chat GPT to come up with some some names for the project. It came up with a few options that I liked such as Cruze and Aurum, but I decided to go with Orbit as I think it sounds right for an autonomous vehicle.

Design

I wanted the design to have a luxurious, timeless feel—something like the experience of being in a Rolls Royce or a Bentley. I really think it would create a special experience for users, where the design itself feels like a journey. Just like riding in those cars, it’s about offering something unique and refined, where every detail is considered and the user feels a sense of elegance and exclusivity.

I chose Juno as the typeface as I thought it was the perfect blend of modern and elegance.

I experimented with a few colour options, here, I tested cream and it didn’t look right at all.
