I really like the look of this scrapbook/effortless sketchbook style—it feels so organic and spontaneous. It has this educational vibe, almost like a notebook full of ideas and notes, making everything feel approachable and personal. It’s like flipping through a creative journal where everything just flows together naturally. I want to incorporate this kind of style in my project.
I sketched out a few layout ideas for the app, experimenting with different approaches. I tried something similar to a typical news app, where articles are displayed in a clean, organized way. I also played around with the scale of elements, especially when presenting facts, to see how they could stand out more. This process really helped me get all my ideas down quickly, letting me visualise different options without overthinking it.
I made wireframes based on my sketches. This process was relatively simple as I based them on my sketches. This was a great base to start off on before including the branding. I feel my vision of what this app is going to be is becoming more refined and specific with each step in the design process.
These were some of the typefaces I considered; I felt that they were good options for the target audience because they convey a youthful, modern aesthetic.
