I began brainstorming ideas on what to include in my app. I thought of many ideas such as interaction and call to action features. Ideas included an interactive map to see what infrastructure is like in other countries, links to ethical brands, a feature where users can share their ideas on how to solve SDG 9 issues.
I’m going to revolve my app around education and promoting innovation to help solve issues relating to SDG 9. I’m going to have a call to action feature where users can set goals for themselves, and report infrastructure flaws.
After deciding to add a report feature in the app, I thought it would be best to see what the process was like to report a pothole. I think it’s useful for me to experience this so I can implement or change these features for my app.
The first action I had to take was to type in a location.
Once I did that, it zoomed in on the road. After this, I was slightly confused what to do next as it wasn’t very clear.
Eventually, I figured out that I had to click on the road in order to report the location of the pothole. I understand this idea in theory, but t definitely took me longer than it shoud have and it’s a very rough estimation of where i’m at on the road.
