Week 1- Introduction and Brief

My Banking Survey

In order to gauge opinion on the use of banks and banking apps, I needed to construct a survey that would help me gather the information I needed. A survey with easy to read questions and that is concise and easy to complete were perimeters I needed to take into consideration in making the survey attractive to complete. A range of ‘tick box’ options and a couple of short spaces for greater elaboration in certain answers would optimise my chances of getting a good range of responses.

Q1- The majority of people in my survey are ages 16-18, I suppose this is because a lot of my friends are the same age as me. I tried my best to reach out to people that are slightly older than me to get an opinion on banking and i think i achieved that.

Q2- I got a range of responses for this question, with the top response being Ulster Bank, it’s important to note that the majority of people use a traditional banking branch.

Q3- This question also gave me a range of answers, with the vast majority of people rarely going into their banking branch.

Q4- Once again, I received a range of responses, but the main reason why people go into their banking branch is to lodge money.

Q5- Security is something that everyone values most when it comes to banking, along with money management, accessibility and savings/benefits. This is something I will take into account when thinking of my brand values.
