As part of my UX process, I created a storyboard to map out how a user might interact with Moda. This involved sketching scenes that show a typical journey — from first entering a hotel room to experiencing how the smart walls could transform the space based on their preferences.
I really enjoyed this part of the project. I love sketching, and I find the process almost therapeutic. It allows me to slow down and think clearly and deeply about the user’s experience, step by step. Visualising the journey helped me spot important emotional touch points — such as the excitement of discovering a personalised space — and also potential pain points I could address early in the design phase.
Drawing the storyboard also helped me stay focused on real user needs, rather than getting caught up in assumptions or technical features. It reinforced that everything about Moda should feel seamless, intuitive, and meaningful to the person experiencing it.

Storyboarding has been an incredibly useful tool in this project. Not only did it help me creatively express the user experience, but it also gave me a stronger emotional connection to the people I'm designing for. It’s something I’ll definitely continue to use as I move forward with Moda.
