Storyboard

I made a rough sketch of a storyboard to visualise the user journey and interactions within the app, focusing on how it supports SDG 9 and the user. By illustrating key moments in the user experience, the storyboard helps clarify how the app engages users, solves their pain points, and encourages meaningful contributions to sustainable industrialisation, innovation and infrastructure.

Problem statements

I created two problem statements to address the challenges young people face in engaging with SDG 9. The first focus on the lack of awareness and engagement with sustainable industrialisation, innovation and infrastructure. Many students are unfamiliar with the goals and how they can contribute to them, which limits their potential impact. The second addresses the difficulty in accessing resources and networks, as students often struggle to find platforms that connect them with mentors, tools, and collaborative opportunities to bring their ideas to life. These problem statements aim to guide the app’s development in providing education, inspiration, and practical support to empower young innovators to drive meaningful change.

User Personas

I created two user personas to better understand the target audience for the app and their unique needs. These personas highlight the need for an app that provides inspiration, resources, and networking opportunities tailored to young, innovative minds.
