This week we completed many tasks, such as figuring out the appropriate use of typography for certain materials, such as stories, phones, desktops and apple watches.
To begin, we were given the task to choose a font that appropriately fits the chosen text.
Frankenstein:
I adopted the font ‘Playfair Display’ as I wanted it to look like a classic novel. Many covers of Frankenstein have a similar style of font and I wanted to honour that.
Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep
I chose ‘Teko’ as my font for this piece as I thought it looked futuristic, which I think suits the material.

I was inspired by this cover, I think the use of green is quite charming, rather than something gory or scary and I wanted to incorporate it in my design.
